Anis Matsham-Heidecke, CPA (Aus), CA (M)

President & CEO

A true believer of the Human Governance (HG) message of humans as relational beings, Anis took on the torch to actualize the message of HG as the Chief Executive Officer of Human Governance Institute Inc. (HGII), taking on the role from its founder Prof. Dr. Arfah Salleh. She is a double degree holder in Accounting and English from Australia, holds a master’s degree in Education and Globalisation with distinction from Finland and had undergone Business Coaching training in South Korea. Currently, Anis is pursuing her Doctoral degree in “exploring the meaning of human”. She has had over 13 years championing education initiatives both locally and internationally in countries like Austria, Switzerland, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Bosnia and has worked in Finland and Germany. She describes taking on the helm of HGII as coming full circle from her first foray into addressing human and societal issues which began at seventeen when she represented Malaysia as the Youth Ambassador at the International Earth Summit in South Africa.
 

Zul Faqar Muhammad Fadzil, CA (M)

CFO & HG Practitioner

Zul Faqar had been an advocate and student of Prof. Dr. Arfah Salleh with Human Governance (HG) since 2014 when he was the company secretary for the Yayasan Putra Business School (YPBS). A Chartered Accountant by profession, Zul Faqar holds an honours degree in Accounting from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has over 20 years of industry and entrepreneurial experience having managing his own Chartered Accounting firm since 2002. Zul Faqar is also a certified Dale Carnegie Worldwide trainer, Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) trainer and Freehand Visualisation Skills (FVS) trainer. Since the incorporation of HGII in 2016, he frequently shadowed Prof. Dr. Arfah in all her programs, seminars, and presentations all over Malaysia, making him not only a believer but also a HG practitioner.
 

Indah Wahyuni Shani

Lead Liason & Program Designer

Drawing on from eight years experience in conceptualising, designing, and implementing nationwide and international experiential business and entrepreneurship programs, Indah is currently the Lead Program Designer for HGII. She has also managed large-scale national project rollouts involving over 2000 schools and organized annual competitions for all Malaysian public and private universities funded by the Ministry of Higher Education. Indah holds a business degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and is a Certified Trainer with HRDF. Her experiences in management, educating, consulting, and training had made her realize that knowing the self as a relational being is the first step towards manifesting the best version of oneself in any role or setting one finds himself to be. She finds her life principles to be in alignment with the philosophy that underpins HGII’s initiatives, hence her decision to come help the team champion Human Governance.
 

Anas Matsham

Business Development & HG Practitioner

Being an entrepreneur and coming from the industry meant that Anas saw the dire need for Human Governance (HG) to be actualized in organisations, both big and small, as humans are the centre of all organisations. His industry background cuts across various sectors from IT (software development), hospitality (hotel management), property (valuation and property management). His overarching achievement to date includes pioneering the development of a cloud-based accounting software for non-accountants which has gained recognition in solving accounting woes amongst SMEs in Malaysia. Anas holds a double degree in Planning & Design (Property) and Property & Construction (Hons.) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also a consultant, trainer and regular speaker with various entrepreneurship agencies such as SME Bank, SME Corp, Maybank, MDEC, MARA, TEKUN and AIM.
 

ET Tan

HG Practitioner & Consultant

ET returned to Malaysia after 30+ years bringing with him a wealth of experience in the transformation of companies, big and small. His industry experiences span over 40 years within various industries including manufacturing, product development and R&D in countries like Japan, China, UK, Italy, France, Germany, USA, Singapore, and Malaysia. He currently mentors entrepreneurs at Stanford University in Palo Alto and dozens of start-ups at NUS Enterprise Incubator in Singapore. He has also founded two consultancies in the US and Singapore. His experience working under the direction of Prof. Dr. Arfah Salleh to incorporate Human Governance into Putra Business School has brought a new dimension into his awareness. He now incorporates the principles and virtues of Human Governance directly into the corporate world wherever possible and shares what it means to work in the service of others as well as one’s soul. As a HG Practitioner, ET assists HGII in the implementation roll out of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) in Malaysia.
 

Dr Che Yang Kassim

HG Awareness Consultant & HG Practitioner

Che Yang is our resident psychologist, counselor and academic whose experiences and knowledge enables the HGII team to better understand the current dominant thought landscape as to what humans are juxtaposed to the worldview of the human that HGII holds on to. She holds a Diploma in Education, a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Master’s degree in Psychology and Counselling and a PhD in Psychology and Counselling in the areas of Person Centered Counselling. She has almost 30 years experience in education, teaching at various levels including university, secondary school and at the Teachers' Training Institute. Her journey into Human Governance (HG) began when she met Prof. Dr. Arfah Salleh who was able to help her find the answers to the questions that she had long sought: what drives one's behaviour and what is the meaning of life? With HG, she is now able to continue her learning journey through actualising the meaning of being human.
 

Jehan Shukri

HG Awareness Consultant & Social Media Strategist

Jehan was a former performing artist turned entrepreneur who had bagged several notable achievements under her belt. During her active days in the entertainment industry, Jehan had won The Band, Astro’s reality show, was the runner up of a hosting competition and the host for Astro Go Shop. As an entrepreneur, she has turned her zero capital venture into a small factory sized business within two years from its initial home based operations. Jehan came to know of Human Governance when she became a student of the late Prof. Dr. Arfah Salleh. Impacted by her teachings, Jehan became a firm believer that knowing the human you can be is the key to live a meaningful life, hence her decision to join the HGII team on top of running a business. A people person at heart, Jehan had decided to use her outgoing nature, media experience, creativity and resourcefulness to bring awareness of the message of HG to the public.
